U460 laptop

Besides being a real screamer with its i5 processor and 4GB ram, this machine works OOTB with Bodhi, with one small exception: the nVidia card. That's not such a big deal, as the U460 has switchable graphics (power saving feature) and falls back to the Intel “card” which has fantastic resolution and compositing works as well. I would personally recommend this laptop. – ottermaton
UPDATE 04 Apr 2011: Getting the NVIDIA card to work is a simple matter of disabling the Switchable Graphics in the BIOS (it even tells you there that it works in Win7 only). Then just follow the nVidia directions in the Hardware section.

S10 Netbook

Work very well apart from when you have to connect to external display.

If boot with the external display connected - The resolution for both internal and external both start with 800×600. Read this on how to fix it.

If boot without external display connected - the resolution came up fine, 1024×600.

However, if the external is connected after boot (say projector), there is no way to switch/turn it on using Fn-F3. Workaround is to kill X and let it restart. It will came up like boot with external displa connect above.
